Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alemdar Makbul took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sedat Özberk in the 3rd minute of play forced Sütlüce's goalkeeper Aktan İşcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Osman Nuri Akburak got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lütfü Özgunes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Gürol Ergintuğ skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aktan İşcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayezit Taştekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Can Ganim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aktan İşcan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Alemdar Makbul received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gürol Ergintuğ came out and tried to block the shot, but Alemdar Makbul slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Alemdar Makbul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY's Gürol Ergintuğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bayezit Taştekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alemdar Makbul in the 34th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Gürol Ergintuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sütlüce's Alemdar Makbul in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lütfü Özgunes scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gürol Ergintuğ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GALATASARAY's Can Ganim got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gürol Ergintuğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lütfü Özgunes's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Alemdar Makbul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürol Ergintuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürol Ergintuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfü Özgunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Can Ganim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alemdar Makbul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Alemdar Makbul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Ergintuğ came out of the goal and Alemdar Makbul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Osman Nuri Akburak got a free kick in the 84th minute. Alemdar Makbul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osman Nuri Akburak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aktan İşcan having to interfere. If Alemdar Makbul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sütlüce fans cheered their team off the field, for while GALATASARAY had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
