Eren Tuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercüment Akpolat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ogün Şinasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusret Sabit in the 25th minute of play. Eren Özender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eren Tuğ having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match Kılıçalp Irgatbaşı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ogün Şinasi skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute, kayra's Nusret Sabit ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ogün Şinasi. Ogün Şinasi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nusret Sabit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of kayra booed when Narlıdere Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Kenan Babaoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. kayra's Lemi Nahit got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ogün Şinasi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. kayra's Eren Tuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercüment Akpolat in the 68th minute of play. After 70 minutes kayra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rıdvan Sezginay who took care of the corner kick. kayra's Eren Tuğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save kayra from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Eren Özender made a precise shot to the right of Eren Tuğ. kayra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Eren Özender who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Eren Tuğ when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eren Özender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eren Tuğ having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
