The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ziya Onur Uluberk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Fevzi Hidayettin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, AKBABA JK's Okaner Malkoçoğlu got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, AKBABA JK's goal looked a bit too open when Göktürk Aldemir came free, but Şevket Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göktürk Aldemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ziya Onur Uluberk in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şevket Sanih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şevket Sanih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göktürk Aldemir in the 56th minute of the match. Abdulhamit Kaygun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fevzi Hidayettin came out and tried to block the shot, but Abdulhamit Kaygun slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute, Ziya Onur Uluberk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tortum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
