Fehmi Gençoğlu's late challenge caught a Utkunun Şahinleri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fehmi Gençoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kabadüz getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Fehmi Gençoğlu hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Mansur Başdaş dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bünyamin Tüzüner, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kabadüz's zone, Mansur Başdaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bünyamin Tüzüner came out of the goal and Mansur Başdaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Rahim Darcan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Uğur Osman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Servet Vahdettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bünyamin Tüzüner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Ahmet Erdem Koçyiğit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uğur Osman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fehmi Gençoğlu in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Ali Nabi Zorbey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Uğur Osman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Rahim Darcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uğur Osman. Utkunun Şahinleri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rahim Darcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Uğur Osman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Darcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes of play, Kabadüz's Fehmi Gençoğlu made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uğur Osman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Utkunun Şahinleri's Uğur Osman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hasan Ulusan in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Erdem Koçyiğit made a kick off. Fehmi Gençoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Uğur Osman made a huge save. Uğur Osman came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Kabadüz's Ahmet Hasan Ulusan. But to his dismay, Ahmet Hasan Ulusan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Uğur Osman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nabi Zorbey in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Utkunun Şahinleri getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Servet Vahdettin hit a great ball. Rahim Darcan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Uğur Osman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kabadüz. Aytaç Aydıntan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Uğur Osman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fehmi Gençoğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 68 minute of play. Kabadüz's Bünyamin Tüzüner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servet Vahdettin in the 71st minute of play. If Mansur Başdaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bünyamin Tüzüner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Erdem Koçyiğit in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Rahim Darcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uğur Osman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hasan Ulusan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Uğur Osman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Hasan Ulusan got free with Uğur Osman in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Erdem Koçyiğit in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bünyamin Tüzüner saved Kabadüz from getting behind. The Kabadüz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kabadüz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
