In the 18th match minute, Kabadüz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytaç Aydıntan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe S.K. defense, Ali Nabi Zorbey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gencal Kuvvet. Aytaç Aydıntan was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kabadüz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Fenerbahçe S.K.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Ahmet Hasan Ulusan scored to the left of an out of position Gencal Kuvvet, making the score, 3-3. Fehmi Gençoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gencal Kuvvet made a huge save. After having played for 66 minutes, Enginsu Akkılıç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Enginsu Akkılıç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enginsu Akkılıç struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Bünyamin Tüzüner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe S.K.. After a defensive mix-up in Kabadüz's zone, Enginsu Akkılıç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onur Ayberk kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Fenerbahçe S.K. booed when Kabadüz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Nabi Zorbey didn't get a good kick on the ball.
