With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Hafiz Songur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulaş Necip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arın Ferhat Adaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Abdi Mehmet Öztan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Cahit Nadir sped through Selenay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Hafiz Songur. Ahmet Hafiz Songur made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Nurettin Ulum sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Selenay's Ahmet Hafiz Songur got control of the ball when Nurettin Ulum tried to sneak it across the goal line. Özcan Rikap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ahmet Hafiz Songur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ferdi Ongunalp fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ahmet Hafiz Songur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
