The supporters of GS SK booed when FENERBAHÇE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Akyol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 16th minute when Baykal Akgüngör elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, GS SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Emir Karginalp to maneuver through the defense. When FENERBAHÇE's Gürkan Yönet in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GS SK's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdurrezzak Demirtekin in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sungurbey Yurday prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cüneyt Uğuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şafak Uluçam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baykal Akgüngör sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Şafak Uluçam came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the GS SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şafak Uluçam couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Şafak Uluçam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdurrezzak Demirtekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şafak Uluçam was the one to do the kick off. Şafak Uluçam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyt Uğuz having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, FENERBAHÇE's Gürkan Yönet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sungurbey Yurday made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Şafak Uluçam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Şafak Uluçam came free, but Cüneyt Uğuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şafak Uluçam succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Sungurbey Yurday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürkan Yönet, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Abdurrezzak Demirtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Gürkan Yönet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sungurbey Yurday was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Gökmen Kurhan kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Ahmet Emir Karginalp fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GS SK's protests and gave Ahmet Emir Karginalp a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes GS SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Emir Karginalp. FENERBAHÇE's Gürkan Yönet landed with the leg in an unnatural angle after a tough challenge. The leg was fractured. After 94 played minutes GS SK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Anıl Bilkan. FENERBAHÇE's Kaan Ergümen got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GS SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
