Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Çakır Malik took the kick off in the first half of the match. Real Madrid's Alparslan Rıfat shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arif Bülbül but with some difficulty. 4 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Alphan Temizhan came free, but Doğaner Sabir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cemil Turcan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Bülbül having to make a save. In the 8th minute Alphan Temizhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğaner Sabir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alphan Temizhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Çakır Malik suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Alparslan Rıfat's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alparslan Rıfat helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Alparslan Rıfat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halil Utku Akdurmuş struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Arif Bülbül didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. With his leg Arif Bülbül managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Real Madrid's Cemil Turcan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Halil Utku Akdurmuş struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Arif Bülbül didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. In the 32nd minute, Cemil Turcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arif Bülbül was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Arif Bülbül didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Arif Bülbül had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cemil Turcan. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Arif Bülbül, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alphan Temizhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Halil Utku Akdurmuş to make the kick off. GALATASARAY's Arif Bülbül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Utku Akdurmuş in the 56th minute of play. When Tolga Uskan fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave Tolga Uskan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tolga Uskan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halil Utku Akdurmuş in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Bülbül prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 70 minutes, Halil Utku Akdurmuş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halil Utku Akdurmuş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cemil Turcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Alphan Temizhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doğaner Sabir came out of the goal and Alphan Temizhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Cemil Turcan came free, but Arif Bülbül reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halil Utku Akdurmuş in the 82nd minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Arif Bülbül to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Cemil Turcan put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arif Bülbül. If Cemil Turcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Halil Utku Akdurmuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Halil Utku Akdurmuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Bülbül saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halil Utku Akdurmuş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Arif Bülbül tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Madrid had played much better football throughout.
