When Hasan Aliyar fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GÜMÜŞHANESPOR's protests and gave Hasan Aliyar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when GÜMÜŞHANESPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Aliyar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, GÜMÜŞHANESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Cemil Turcan came free, but Kamber Özen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Cemil Turcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kamber Özen. Kamber Özen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halil Utku Akdurmuş's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Eray Bekdemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eray Bekdemir in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doğaner Sabir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Eray Bekdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğaner Sabir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Cemil Turcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamber Özen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Cemil Turcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamber Özen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cemil Turcan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Kamber Özen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. Ömer Doğanay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kamber Özen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemil Turcan in the 40th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eray Bekdemir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GÜMÜŞHANESPOR's Kamber Özen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save GÜMÜŞHANESPOR from getting a goal against them. Cemil Turcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Özer Ünalp from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Kamber Özen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hasan Aliyar was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute, Halil Utku Akdurmuş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cemil Turcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamber Özen having to interfere. After 67 played minutes GÜMÜŞHANESPOR got a freekick which was hit by Doğa Bakırcıoğlu. GÜMÜŞHANESPOR's Kamber Özen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save GÜMÜŞHANESPOR from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind GÜMÜŞHANESPOR's goalkeeper Kamber Özen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Halil Utku Akdurmuş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kamber Özen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doğaner Sabir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Necdet Urangu went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, GÜMÜŞHANESPOR's Vahdet Girgin got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Halil Utku Akdurmuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamber Özen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Real Madrid's Cemil Turcan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to GÜMÜŞHANESPOR getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ercüment Pınar hit a great ball. GÜMÜŞHANESPOR's Kamber Özen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save GÜMÜŞHANESPOR from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Ahmet Necdet Urangu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2.
