When Duran Yiğitcan fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köln F.C's protests and gave Duran Yiğitcan a yellow card for diving instead. Duran Yiğitcan kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, FENERBAHÇE's Kaan Ergümen tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gürkan Yönet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Feyyaz Değirmencioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Abdurrezzak Demirtekin made a precise shot to the right of Feyyaz Değirmencioğlu. Köln F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 44th minute Abdi Mehmet Koçarslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyt Uğuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Köln F.C's Baycan Zeynelabidin tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Abdurrezzak Demirtekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duran Yiğitcan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Kaan Ergümen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feyyaz Değirmencioğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Abdurrezzak Demirtekin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köln F.C's Feyyaz Değirmencioğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Köln F.C's Abdi Mehmet Koçarslan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cüneyt Uğuz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Köln F.C's Çelik Yalvaç got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Köln F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Köln F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
