Şaban İkinci kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, DRS SPOR's Adnan Yalgın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Öztürk Tokcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 13 played minutes, DRS SPOR's Boran Lütufkâr shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Öztürk Tokcan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DRS SPOR reached it. Baycan Tokkan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Öztürk Tokcan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Bektaş Yaşam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baycan Tokkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Öztürk Tokcan made a huge save. Öztürk Tokcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Yalgın in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind DRS SPOR's goalkeeper Halil Can Altın, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baycan Tokkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Öztürk Tokcan having to interfere. Öztürk Tokcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Yalgın in the 31st minute of play. Halil Can Altın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kayhan Tuğrul's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Kayhan Tuğrul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Baycan Tokkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Öztürk Tokcan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adnan Yalgın in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Öztürk Tokcan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nedim Özgulec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Öztürk Tokcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Bektaş Yaşam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halil Can Altın was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kayhan Tuğrul was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baycan Tokkan in the 54th minute of play forced Ivrindi SK's goalkeeper Öztürk Tokcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baycan Tokkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halil Can Altın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kayhan Tuğrul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Baycan Tokkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Öztürk Tokcan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Bektaş Yaşam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İsmail Hakkı Arman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The DRS SPOR fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when DRS SPOR's Adnan Yalgın looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Bektaş Yaşam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Halil Can Altın successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Halil Can Altın made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bektaş Yaşam in the 92nd minute. After 92 played minutes DRS SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Bayhan Yayalp. Bektaş Yaşam took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halil Can Altın. Halil Can Altın dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 96th minute, Cihangir Sarphan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ivrindi SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DRS SPOR.
