Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Aktaç Selahaddin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şükrü Uyarel in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turan Toycan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Ceyhan Denizalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şükrü Uyarel got free with Turan Toycan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Özmen İlker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Utkan Tecimer in the 18th minute of play. If Utkan Tecimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Lapseki's Şükrü Uyarel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turan Toycan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Aktaç Selahaddin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Turan Toycan. Aktaç Selahaddin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Cenk Ünsaç charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cenk Ünsaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to bırsaspor getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cenk Ünsaç hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, bırsaspor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Şükrü Uyarel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 39 minutes, Cüneyt Cesman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bırsaspor and the Lapseki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind bırsaspor's goalkeeper Turan Toycan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Aktaç Selahaddin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turan Toycan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Utkan Tecimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özmen İlker having to interfere. Aktaç Selahaddin took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turan Toycan. Turan Toycan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Şükrü Uyarel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapseki's supporters rose to their feet, but Şükrü Uyarel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turan Toycan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Turan Toycan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şükrü Uyarel in the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aktaç Selahaddin in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turan Toycan saved bırsaspor from getting behind. 80 minutes into the game, Şükrü Uyarel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Turan Toycan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Turan Toycan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aktaç Selahaddin went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Turan Toycan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükrü Uyarel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
