The crowd rose to their feet as Hüseyin Yanal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bektaş Adalıoğlu. That made the score 1-2 in the 65 minute of play. When Gökmen Bağcıoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Crystal Palace fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökmen Bağcıoğlu couldn't finish the play.
