Mehmet Şefik Serir spun around in front of the goal 60 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Iskenderun's goal. 65 minutes into the game, Mehmet Şefik Serir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iskenderun the free kick. A collision led to Torul getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mehmet Şefik Serir hit a great ball. Şafak Tamkoç might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Necat İshak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şafak Tamkoç ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute Mehmet Şefik Serir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybar Türk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aybar Türk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aydemir Kutlan in the 73rd minute.
