Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kemalettin Ispartalı started the match with the kick off. Kemalettin Ispartalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ahmet Gökalp Guftar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, YAKALARSAM's Birsel Sertaç got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute Gürel Başhekim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Gökalp Guftar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Mehmet Hamdi İlteber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gürel Başhekim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Gökalp Guftar having to make a save. After 12 minutes, Kemalettin Ispartalı made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. YAKALARSAM's Ahmet Gökalp Guftar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. YAKALARSAM's Şimşek Hükümran got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yusuf Bahadır Kaygun kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nejat Alp Nazım kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Kemalettin Ispartalı suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Göktuğ Saygur fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YAKALARSAM's protests and gave Göktuğ Saygur a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to YAKALARSAM getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Göktuğ Saygur hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in YAKALARSAM's zone, Gürel Başhekim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Gökalp Guftar came out of the goal and Gürel Başhekim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gürel Başhekim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Şamil Sebuktekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. YAKALARSAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Şamil Sebuktekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enver Şahruh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Gökalp Guftar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürel Başhekim's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Nejat Alp Nazım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, one of YAKALARSAM:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Ilgin. Sabahattin Beyzade stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmet Gökalp Guftar. 0-2. If Yusuf Bahadır Kaygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürel Başhekim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şamil Sebuktekin was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Gökalp Guftar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gürel Başhekim in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Ilgin's Gürel Başhekim stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Ahmet Gökalp Guftar stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing YAKALARSAM of the goal. In the 59th minute, Gürel Başhekim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Soner Gülle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, YAKALARSAM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gürel Başhekim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yusuf Bahadır Kaygun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gürel Başhekim came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ilgin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürel Başhekim couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Gökalp Guftar came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ilgin's Gürel Başhekim. But to his dismay, Gürel Başhekim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Gürel Başhekim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Gökalp Guftar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıdvan Erbatur in the 82nd minute of the match. Nurkan Ağçelik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gökalp Guftar having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Gürel Başhekim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Gökalp Guftar. Gürel Başhekim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 95 minutes of play, YAKALARSAM's Şimşek Hükümran made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enver Şahruh was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Ilgin could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than YAKALARSAM throughout the match.
