Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Cifteler's goal looked a bit too open when Göktürk Sağman came free, but Afşin Ulusoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göktürk Sağman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afşin Ulusoy having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Göktürk Sağman to make the kick off. The Konya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of Cifteler booed when Konya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şenol Kutlar in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kartal Tacal saved Konya from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cifteler players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Konya.
