But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürel Başhekim couldn't finish the play. Despite this Fatih Babacan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute, one of vurucuTim08:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for vurucuTim08. Sabahattin Beyzade shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 31st match minute, Ilgin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıdvan Erbatur to maneuver through the defense. Arif Ozan Baytüze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Enver Şahruh made a huge save. vurucuTim08's Fatih Babacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürel Başhekim in the 34th minute of play. After 34 played minutes vurucuTim08 got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Derdiyok. Ilgin's Kemalettin Ispartalı got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ilgin booed when vurucuTim08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağlar Vecdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, vurucuTim08's goal looked a bit too open when Kemalettin Ispartalı came free, but Fatih Babacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes vurucuTim08 got a freekick which was hit by Çağlar Vecdi. Sabahattin Beyzade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fatih Babacan. vurucuTim08's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kemalettin Ispartalı made a kick off. Kemalettin Ispartalı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fatih Babacan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Kemalettin Ispartalı might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fatih Babacan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kemalettin Ispartalı ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute, Gürel Başhekim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fatih Babacan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kemalettin Ispartalı during the 66th minute. Gürel Başhekim scored 0-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fatih Babacan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
