The audience thought a goal was coming when Armağan Güler got free with Sungurhan Şehzat in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Feridun Aktaşlı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 minutes of play, FENERBAHÇE's Armağan Güler made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. FENERBAHÇE's Erkan Patlar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FENERBAHÇE from getting a goal against them. Hüsmen Sarp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Erkan Patlar made a huge save. Gürcan Peykan might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sungurhan Şehzat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gürcan Peykan ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Creative FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kürşat Şevket hit a great ball. Erkan Patlar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolgahan Çiltay, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Creative FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yahya Deren to maneuver through the defense. FENERBAHÇE's Erkan Patlar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Emrah Koçhan in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Mustafa Cumhur Arıkhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FENERBAHÇE and the Creative FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Creative FC. Macit Polatkılıç walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
