Sancar Bardakçıoğlu's late challenge caught a Kusadasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İbrahim Efe Akyazıcı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrullah Tecer in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Hayrullah Tecer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of İbrahim Efe Akyazıcı. Hayrullah Tecer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After having played for 31 minutes, Ersin Vefalı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göktas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ersin Vefalı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersin Vefalı in the 33rd minute of play forced Kusadasi's goalkeeper Barış Özgenay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ersin Vefalı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göktas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ersin Vefalı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barış Özgenay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barış Özgenay was a little too slow when Ersin Vefalı got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 67th minute, Ersin Vefalı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hurşit Kamuran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersin Vefalı in the 70th minute of play forced Kusadasi's goalkeeper Barış Özgenay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barış Özgenay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersin Vefalı, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 79th minute Ersin Vefalı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barış Özgenay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kusadasi's Barış Özgenay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hurşit Kamuran in the 88th minute of play. Ersin Vefalı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barış Özgenay having to make a save. Göktas's Ersin Vefalı got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hayrullah Tecer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Göktas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kusadasi throughout the match.
