Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abdulhamit Felek kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Ferid Kaveloğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Emre İklim was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 7 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY 1905's Naim Sağıt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Emre İklim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferid Kaveloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Emre İklim having to interfere. If Ferid Kaveloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 played minutes Patates Spor got a freekick which was hit by Hulusi Akbatu. In the 34th match minute, Patates Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulusi Akbatu to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ferid Kaveloğlu sped through Patates Spor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mehmet Emre İklim. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferid Kaveloğlu in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Emre İklim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Patates Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Ferid Kaveloğlu came free, but Mehmet Emre İklim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half GALATASARAY 1905 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferid Kaveloğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Patates Spor getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mustafa Ali Orkut hit a great ball. Abdulhamit Felek scored 1-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reşit Balta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Mehmet Emre İklim managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when GALATASARAY 1905's Ferid Kaveloğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mustafa Ali Orkut kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Naim Sağıt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patates Spor's Mehmet Emre İklim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Patates Spor from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Patates Spor getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mustafa Ali Orkut hit a great ball. Mehmet Emre İklim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferid Kaveloğlu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Cevahir Gürler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY 1905's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevahir Gürler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 minutes, Ferid Kaveloğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY 1905 and the Patates Spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferid Kaveloğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Ferid Kaveloğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Emre İklim. Ferid Kaveloğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 83 minutes into the game, Ferid Kaveloğlu lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Mehmet Emre İklim. 92 minutes into the game, Aykut Kamaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patates Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY 1905 the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferid Kaveloğlu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Emre İklim saved Patates Spor from getting behind. GALATASARAY 1905 played a much better game than Patates Spor and deserved their victory. The Patates Spor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
