Spectators: 6080 (Terracing: 4750, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 80) 5 minutes into the match, Penguenler's goal looked a bit too open when Saruhan Sabih came free, but Remzi Kura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Saruhan Sabih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Penguenler's goalkeeper Remzi Kura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necmettin Ergümen. The supporters of Gençlik booed when Penguenler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haldun Sirri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Saruhan Sabih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penguenler's Remzi Kura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gençlik's Necmettin Ergümen got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes, Penguenler's Duran Taygar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Harun Tezeren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Penguenler reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Koray Filiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penguenler's supporters rose to their feet, but Koray Filiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Harun Tezeren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Gençlik's Saruhan Sabih dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Koray Filiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gençlik's Ahmet Harun Tezeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tacettin Erek in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Tacettin Erek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penguenler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tacettin Erek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tacettin Erek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remzi Kura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necmettin Ergümen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remzi Kura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necmettin Ergümen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saruhan Sabih in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remzi Kura saved Penguenler from getting behind. Saruhan Sabih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi Kura having to interfere. In the 67th minute Saruhan Sabih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi Kura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gençlik getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Yetkin Lütfullah hit a great ball. Tacettin Erek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Harun Tezeren having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Ahmet Harun Tezeren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gençlik's Ahmet Harun Tezeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tacettin Erek in the 81st minute of play. Koray Filiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haldun Sirri kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Tacettin Erek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Harun Tezeren came out and tried to block the shot, but Tacettin Erek slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 92nd minute. Remzi Kura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saruhan Sabih in the 96th minute of play. The Gençlik supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Penguenler's performance. The match ended with a win for Penguenler.
