Mehmet Akif Tomurcuk's late challenge caught a FENERBAHÇE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Akif Tomurcuk helped the player get up and apologised. Gürcan Peykan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Işık Ahıska made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gürcan Peykan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FENERBAHÇE's supporters rose to their feet, but Gürcan Peykan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Işık Ahıska breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erkan Patlar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Akif Tomurcuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Işık Ahıska was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gürcan Peykan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, FENERBAHÇE's Feridun Aktaşlı dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Gürcan Peykans short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Işık Ahıska to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gürcan Peykan in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Işık Ahıska, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gürcan Peykan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Işık Ahıska managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when FENERBAHÇE's Gürcan Peykan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 39 minutes, Gürcan Peykan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gürcan Peykan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gürcan Peykan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Işık Ahıska tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Işık Ahıska stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürcan Peykan's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feridun Aktaşlı got free with Işık Ahıska in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Işık Ahıska made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Armağan Güler sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Gürcan Peykan made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Armağan Güler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Gürcan Peykan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Işık Ahıska was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feridun Aktaşlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürcan Peykan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Armağan Güler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Işık Ahıska saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürcan Peykan in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Işık Ahıska saved Torul JK from getting behind. When Emrullah Özek came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emrullah Özek couldn't finish the play. Armağan Güler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Mehmet Akif Tomurcuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuralp Tetiker hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Torul JK's Işık Ahıska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armağan Güler in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürcan Peykan in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Işık Ahıska saved Torul JK from getting behind. If Emrullah Özek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Torul JK's zone, Gürcan Peykan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Işık Ahıska came out of the goal and Gürcan Peykan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armağan Güler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürcan Peykan in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Işık Ahıska prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the FENERBAHÇE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
