A collision led to Sinop JK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Yetkin Sadir hit a great ball. Aykut Kamaci hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Mustafa Ali Orkut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patates Spor and the Sinop JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sinop JK booed when Patates Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ali Orkut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fahrettin Çetinalp charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fahrettin Çetinalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Sinop JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fahrettin Çetinalp to maneuver through the defense. Latif Yılhan's late challenge caught a Patates Spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yılmaz Tefhim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Emre İklim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 2-1 became the score in the 44th minute when Yılmaz Tefhim elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Yetkin Sadir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Emre İklim was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yılmaz Tefhim to strike the kick off in the second half. If Yetkin Sadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Yılmaz Tefhim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Emre İklim was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yetkin Sadir in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Emre İklim saved Patates Spor from getting behind. Yılmaz Tefhim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mehmet Emre İklim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yılmaz Tefhim in the 67th minute of play forced Patates Spor's goalkeeper Mehmet Emre İklim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yılmaz Tefhim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Emre İklim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yılmaz Tefhim in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Aykut Kamaci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patates Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Aykut Kamaci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gündüz Orguntay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yılmaz Tefhim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Emre İklim having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Mustafa Ali Orkut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Yetkin Sadir put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Emre İklim. If Yetkin Sadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yılmaz Tefhim struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mehmet Emre İklim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinop JK. For all the effort they put into the match, the Patates Spor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sinop JK.
