Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hayrullah Tecer started the match with the kick off. Fatih Uma charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fatih Uma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erkan Patlar was a little too slow when Alptuğ Tüzeman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Kusadasi's Abayhan Ecemiş slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erkan Patlar. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Barış Özgenay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cahit Hacıoğlu in the 25th minute of play. Hayrullah Tecer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erkan Patlar came out and tried to block the shot, but Hayrullah Tecer slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 31st minute. When Hayrullah Tecer fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kusadasi's protests and gave Hayrullah Tecer a yellow card for diving instead. Emrullah Özek struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Barış Özgenay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHÇE. The FENERBAHÇE fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when FENERBAHÇE's Gürcan Peykan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gürcan Peykan made a kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Gürcan Peykan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kusadasi's Barış Özgenay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barış Özgenay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emrullah Özek in the 58th minute of the match. Barış Özgenay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feridun Aktaşlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 played minutes Kusadasi got a freekick which was hit by Selami Bakır. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Gürcan Peykan put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Barış Özgenay. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kusadasi's goalkeeper Barış Özgenay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as FENERBAHÇE's Gürcan Peykan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Barış Özgenay. That made the score 3-3 after 69 minutes of play. When Gürcan Peykan came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürcan Peykan couldn't finish the play. Fatih Uma hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gürcan Peykan had several of the Kusadasi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-4 score and a disappointed Barış Özgenay as he didn't even see the shot coming. 82 minutes into the match, Kusadasi's goal looked a bit too open when Gürcan Peykan came free, but Barış Özgenay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FENERBAHÇE's Feridun Aktaşlı slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Barış Özgenay. That made the score 3-5 after 83 minutes of play. Barış Özgenay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gürcan Peykan in the 88th minute. Gürcan Peykan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Barış Özgenay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHÇE. Barış Özgenay made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Armağan Güler sent off a good shot on target. After 94 played minutes Kusadasi got a freekick which was hit by Selami Bakır. The FENERBAHÇE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FENERBAHÇE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
