In the 17th minute, Kerim Gadda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Izmirspor booed when Gevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avni Ahmetoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gevas's supporters crossed their fingers, but İlyas Tolga Öktuğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gevas's Mahsun Çoğa got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uğurcan Çelikyay hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ozan Vezir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahsun Çoğa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Bayram Akkoyun made a huge save. Mahsun Çoğa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayram Akkoyun having to interfere. The Gevas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
