If Hüseyin Can Türel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SAKARYA SPOR getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mehmet Emrah Aydınalp hit a great ball. If Azmi İribaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. A wasted opportunity for Cumhuriyet SPOR. After having played for 21 minutes, Azmi İribaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumhuriyet SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azmi İribaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emrah Aydınalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAKARYA SPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cumhuriyet SPOR the free kick. After a rather tough play, SAKARYA SPOR's Mehmet Emrah Aydınalp got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Özkan Doğa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alişan Yaltırak skillfully saved the ball. Bahadırhan Celilay took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alişan Yaltırak. Alişan Yaltırak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 31 minutes of play, Cumhuriyet SPOR's Azmi İribaş made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alişan Yaltırak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Gökmen Çanak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Rıfat Sargınal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cumhuriyet SPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAKARYA SPOR the free kick. Rıfat Sargınal hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gökmen Çanak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mustafa Ekrem Tolgay hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Özkan Doğa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Bahadırhan Celilay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alişan Yaltırak. SAKARYA SPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bahadırhan Celilay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Cumhuriyet SPOR were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Azmi İribaş to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, SAKARYA SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Azmi İribaş came free, but Alişan Yaltırak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Azmi İribaş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Alişan Yaltırak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Azmi İribaş received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alişan Yaltırak came out and tried to block the shot, but Azmi İribaş slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Rıfat Sargınal took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Alişan Yaltırak to make any attempt to save it. 77 minutes into the match, SAKARYA SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Azmi İribaş came free, but Alişan Yaltırak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alişan Yaltırak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bahadırhan Celilay went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. After having played for 89 minutes, Hüseyin Can Türel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAKARYA SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüseyin Can Türel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökmen Çanak in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Suphi Balbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
