Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Şenol Uçman started the match with the kick off. Eser Dirayet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bulut Tokyürek having to make a save. Bulut Tokyürek came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Ateş Haylaz. But to his dismay, Ateş Haylaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Aras Görkem Bilgetürk hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Ateş Haylaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bulut Tokyürek came out of the goal and Ateş Haylaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eser Dirayet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ateş Haylaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Bulut Tokyürek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Ateş Haylaz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bulut Tokyürek to make any attempt to save it. When Ulaş Umar fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Ulaş Umar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ulaş Umar hit a great ball. 30 minutes in the game, Ateş Haylaz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bulut Tokyürek having to interfere. Bulut Tokyürek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eser Dirayet in the 33rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Bulut Tokyürek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aras Görkem Bilgetürk kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Ateş Haylaz came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ateş Haylaz couldn't finish the play. Bulut Tokyürek was a little too slow when Eser Dirayet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 48th minute, Ateş Haylaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eser Dirayet was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Eser Dirayet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bulut Tokyürek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bulut Tokyürek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eser Dirayet went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Eser Dirayet came free, but Bulut Tokyürek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galatasaray's Ateş Haylaz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Borussia Dortmund's Bulut Tokyürek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ateş Haylaz in the 66th minute of play. Eser Dirayet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bulut Tokyürek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Eser Dirayet came free, but Bulut Tokyürek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eser Dirayet in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bulut Tokyürek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ateş Haylaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bulut Tokyürek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ateş Haylaz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Eser Dirayet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eser Dirayet scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bulut Tokyürek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuralp Ramiz's late challenge caught a Borussia Dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuralp Ramiz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nuralp Ramiz hit a great ball.
