Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Galatasaray's Kahraman Yumus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Şeref Özdoru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş. Galatasaray's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edip Turaç in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Galatasaray's Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutay Utkan in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute Kutay Utkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kahraman Yumus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Toktimur having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kutay Utkan in the 35th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beyhan Kayra charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beyhan Kayra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Menekse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beyhan Kayra to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Menekse's zone, Alperen Suel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asım Toktimur came out of the goal and Alperen Suel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edip Turaç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute, Kutay Utkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Kutay Utkan made the kick off in the second half. If Kahraman Yumus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kutay Utkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edip Turaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the game, Menekse's Kutay Utkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edip Turaç in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Ogün Paker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Kutay Utkan came free, but Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kutay Utkan in the 88th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alperen Suel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Asım Toktimur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kutay Utkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kahraman Yumus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Toktimur having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
