Ahmet Ozan Özdek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saadettin İltan having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Ahmet Ozan Özdek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Kilis SK's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özgurcan came free, but Recai Ugraş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turgut Kiram's late challenge caught a Gülnar SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Turgut Kiram helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Kilis SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turgut Kiram to maneuver through the defense. Recai Ugraş was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Özgür Özgurcan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kilis SK's Aşır Budun got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilis SK's goalkeeper Recai Ugraş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özgür Özgurcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Aşır Budun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gülnar SK's Özgür Özgurcan in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilis SK's goalie prevented a goal. When Evren Oba fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Duran İlsev might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saadettin İltan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duran İlsev ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Kilis SK booed when Gülnar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdoğan Uralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saadettin İltan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fevzi Bekdemir in the 71st minute of the match. Ömer Rıza Mehdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recai Ugraş having to interfere. Alpay Oğuztüzün kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The long shot by İzzet Kılıçhan in the 76th minute really tested Saadettin İltan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kilis SK's Recai Ugraş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Rıza Mehdi in the 82nd minute of play. Saadettin İltan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fevzi Bekdemir showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 84 minute of play. Ahmet Ozan Özdek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Fevzi Bekdemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Fevzi Bekdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saadettin İltan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cumali Sadi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Gülnar SK's goalkeeper Saadettin İltan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Ozan Özdek. When the match was over Kilis SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gülnar SK throughout the match.
