With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kahraman Yumus in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baskın Taif saved MELMİN FC from getting behind. Abdulbaki Başdaş scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Oğuz Ungur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş. Galatasaray's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansur Resai in the 34th minute of the match. İlbey Arslanoğlu struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MELMİN FC. If Mansur Resai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Kahraman Yumus made the kick off in the second half. During the 52nd minute of the match Berkay Ataergin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Berkay Ataergin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 53rd minute, Berkay Ataergin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mansur Resai spun around in front of the goal 57 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Galatasaray's goal. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when İlbey Arslanoğlu sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when MELMİN FC's İlbey Arslanoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enis Behiç Rekin during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Galatasaray fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MELMİN FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
