A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 47th minute, Berkay Ataergin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Kahraman Yumus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Recai Ugraş was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fevzi Bekdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Fevzi Bekdemir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş. Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fevzi Bekdemir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Berkay Ataergin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match.
