Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hatemi Altunhan's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 17 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Ömer Ekber. Sungurhan Hiçsönmez, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hatemi Altunhan in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Enis Behiç Rekin got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Serkan Kotuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berkay Ataergin charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berkay Ataergin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Berkay Ataergin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hatemi Altunhan in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alperen Suel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Esat User made a huge save. If Kahraman Yumus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kahraman Yumus struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Esat User didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. Atacan Sırat struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahsili. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Atacan Sırat made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Alperen Suel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esat User. Bahsili's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alperen Suel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Arcan Tunçboğa got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vatan Malgır's late challenge caught a Galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vatan Malgır helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Bahsili was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vatan Malgır didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kahraman Yumus in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esat User saved Bahsili from getting behind. Galatasaray's Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atacan Sırat in the 62nd minute of play. Hatemi Altunhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Ferhat İsmet in the 67th minute really tested Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Esat User took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alperen Suel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hatemi Altunhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hatemi Altunhan came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Bahsili fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hatemi Altunhan couldn't finish the play. Esat User stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alperen Suel's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Esat User showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alperen Suel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hatemi Altunhan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ahmet Vefik Ökkeş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahsili. If Alperen Suel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bahsili's Vatan Malgır got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Vatan Malgır off the ground. After a rather tough play, Bahsili's Vatan Malgır got a free kick in the 94th minute.
