Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vacid Ünsal started the match with the kick off. Mehmet Hakkı Veli made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Mirza Ünalp sent off a good shot on target. Veli Hikmettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes Otlukbeli JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Özal Tanyeli who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on KovaSpor's corner Özal Tanyeli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mehmet Hakkı Veli quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Oğuzhan Akgüngör was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KovaSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otlukbeli JK the free kick. After 13 played minutes KovaSpor got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzhan Akgüngör. After having played for 14 minutes, Aytaç Demirer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otlukbeli JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytaç Demirer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirza Ünalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mehmet Hakkı Veli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mansur Nasr hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Mirza Ünalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vacid Ünsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Veli having to interfere. Mansur Nasr hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Otlukbeli JK's Mansur Nasr got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Mansur Nasr off the ground. In the 29th minute, Mansur Nasr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KovaSpor's Özal Tanyeli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mehmet Hakkı Veli but with some difficulty. A collision led to Otlukbeli JK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Yıldırım Eroğuz hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Vacid Ünsal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Hakkı Veli. Vacid Ünsal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 41st minute Aytaç Demirer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürbüz Mehdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Otlukbeli JK booed when KovaSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güney Adılhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otlukbeli JK's İlhami Dündar pulled a muscle in his leg after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to KovaSpor getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Güney Adılhan hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Veli Hikmettin was the one to do the kick off. Mirza Ünalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Veli having to interfere. When Veli Hikmettin fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Otlukbeli JK's protests and gave Veli Hikmettin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Otlukbeli JK's Veli Hikmettin got a free kick in the 58th minute. Vacid Ünsal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vacid Ünsal in the 64th minute of play forced Otlukbeli JK's goalkeeper Mehmet Hakkı Veli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KovaSpor's Mirza Ünalp got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vacid Ünsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Otlukbeli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Vacid Ünsal came free, but Mehmet Hakkı Veli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Otlukbeli JK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Veli Hikmettin hit a great ball. Mehmet Hakkı Veli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacid Ünsal in the 89th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Vacid Ünsal put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Hakkı Veli. Otlukbeli JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
