Abidin İdrisoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 10 minutes, İnanç Mahir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hendek Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but İnanç Mahir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Cat's Barışcan Terzioğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cipriano Halat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Cat getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kahraman Asker hit a great ball. Magnus Blom took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abidin İdrisoğlu. Abidin İdrisoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Abidin İdrisoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İnanç Mahir in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yunus Rusuhi in the 28th minute of play forced Cat's goalkeeper Abidin İdrisoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cat booed when Hendek Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metehan Kamver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes Cat got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Salikbey. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Blom in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abidin İdrisoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Cat defense, İnanç Mahir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abidin İdrisoğlu. The Cat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abidin İdrisoğlu should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Yunus Rusuhi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hendek Spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After 42 played minutes Cat got a freekick which was hit by Songurbey Helvacıoğlu. Abidin İdrisoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yunus Rusuhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barışcan Terzioğlu got free with Cipriano Halat in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Barışcan Terzioğlu made the kick off in the second half. Yunus Rusuhi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abidin İdrisoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Yunus Rusuhi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Cat's Abidin İdrisoğlu got control of the ball when İnanç Mahir tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Cat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vecdet Honazlı to maneuver through the defense. İnanç Mahir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Abidin İdrisoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Cat's goal looked a bit too open when İnanç Mahir came free, but Abidin İdrisoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Yunus Rusuhi took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Abidin İdrisoğlu to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute, Magnus Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cat's Abidin İdrisoğlu got control of the ball when İnanç Mahir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cat's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Yunus Rusuhi scored to the left of an out of position Abidin İdrisoğlu, making the score, 1-7. Hendek Spor's Enginsu Sayar was substituted for Magnus Blom. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by İnanç Mahir got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yunus Rusuhi took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abidin İdrisoğlu. Abidin İdrisoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Metehan Kamver kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Kurtuluş Özgu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hendek Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cat the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hendek Spor's Kurtuluş Özgu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Cat's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enginsu Sayar 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-9.
