Songurbey Helvacıoğlu's late challenge caught a Nevsehir JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Songurbey Helvacıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Barışcan Terzioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ahmet Kadri Özdek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Zekeriya Paksu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cat's Abidin İdrisoğlu. Abidin İdrisoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21stth minute of the game Erhan Doğan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cat's Abidin İdrisoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cafer Taşer during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Cat a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Halil İbrahim İşçen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nevsehir JK's Ahmet Kadri Özdek. 1-2. In the 28th minute Erhan Doğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abidin İdrisoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Kadri Özdek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barışcan Terzioğlu's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Hakkı Devrim Ezelhan charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakkı Devrim Ezelhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barışcan Terzioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ahmet Kadri Özdek made a huge save. Abidin İdrisoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erhan Doğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Devrim Ezelhan in the 58th minute of play forced Cat's goalkeeper Abidin İdrisoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nevsehir JK booed when Cat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Vefik Yaybüke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abidin İdrisoğlu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hakkı Devrim Ezelhan. 67 minutes into the match, Cat's Barışcan Terzioğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Kadri Özdek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Erhan Doğan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abidin İdrisoğlu. The goal made the score 1-4. Abdülhak Niğdelis short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Abidin İdrisoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Nevsehir JK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Abdülhak Niğdeli hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barışcan Terzioğlu in the 77th minute of play forced Nevsehir JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Kadri Özdek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barışcan Terzioğlu in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Kadri Özdek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Cat's goalkeeper Abidin İdrisoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zekeriya Paksu. After a defensive mix-up in Nevsehir JK's zone, Barışcan Terzioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kadri Özdek came out of the goal and Barışcan Terzioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Halil İbrahim İşçen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halil İbrahim İşçen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Nevsehir JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nevsehir JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
