After a rather tough play, Lapseki's Zülfü Delfin got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mirza Ünalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. KovaSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirza Ünalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökçe Bekdemir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tayyar Akçalı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürbüz Mehdi having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Lapseki's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mirza Ünalp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 13th minute, Armağan Şahruh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Saadettin Kayaer fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KovaSpor's protests and gave Saadettin Kayaer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, KovaSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saadettin Kayaer to maneuver through the defense. Lapseki's Zülfü Delfin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KovaSpor. After having played for 26 minutes, Mirza Ünalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KovaSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mirza Ünalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Lapseki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedirhan Batı to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, KovaSpor's Özal Tanyeli tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mirza Ünalps short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Gökçe Bekdemir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the match, Lapseki's goal looked a bit too open when Vacid Ünsal came free, but Gökçe Bekdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gürbüz Mehdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tayyar Akçalı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Tayyar Akçalı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gürbüz Mehdi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Burak Umar made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Lapseki's Tayyar Akçalı made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gürbüz Mehdi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gürbüz Mehdi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tayyar Akçalı in the 56th minute. Mirza Ünalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökçe Bekdemir having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vacid Ünsal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gökçe Bekdemir was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. İrfan Mennan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Lapseki's goal looked a bit too open when Gökmen Nafiz came free, but Gökçe Bekdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adnan Demir's late challenge caught a KovaSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adnan Demir helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KovaSpor booed when Lapseki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Demir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gürbüz Mehdi was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Burak Umar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Burak Umar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lapseki had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
