But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Devrim Ezelhan couldn't finish the play. Gökçe Bekdemir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdülhak Niğdeli in the 86th minute. When Cafer Taşer fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nevsehir JK's protests and gave Cafer Taşer a yellow card for diving instead. Burak Umar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lapseki's Tayyar Akçalı got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erhan Doğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gökçe Bekdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lapseki fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nevsehir JK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
