Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cat's Barışcan Terzioğlu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abidin İdrisoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Rafettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Kılıçhan Tanaydin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Songurbey Helvacıoğlu in the 11th minute. Ahmet Vefik Yaybüke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kılıçhan Tanaydin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reşat Eygül hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Kuddusî Çoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barışcan Terzioğlu got free with Kılıçhan Tanaydin in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Cat booed when Tophane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsnü Genç didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehdi Rafettin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Cat's Derman Devlet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kılıçhan Tanaydin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cat reached it. In the 59th minute, Mehdi Rafettin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tophane fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Abidin İdrisoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Rafettin in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Cat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derman Devlet to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Barışcan Terzioğlu made a precise shot to the right of Kılıçhan Tanaydin. Tophane's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Tophane getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mehmet Halis Özay hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Tophane defense, Barışcan Terzioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kılıçhan Tanaydin. The Tophane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kılıçhan Tanaydin should have stopped the shot. Galip Kadri made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Afşar Yesar immediately put the ball in play. In the 81st match minute, Tophane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galip Kadri to maneuver through the defense. Kılıçhan Tanaydin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barışcan Terzioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüseyin Cahit Evliya kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Barışcan Terzioğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abidin İdrisoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Özay in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Cat players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
