Aytaç Demirer struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ahmet Kadri Özdek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otlukbeli JK. If Hakkı Devrim Ezelhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mansur Nasr fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Otlukbeli JK's protests and gave Mansur Nasr a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erhan Doğan got free with Mehmet Hakkı Veli in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mansur Nasr was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hakkı Devrim Ezelhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Veli having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The Otlukbeli JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Hakkı Veli should have stopped the shot. Erhan Doğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mehmet Hakkı Veli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erhan Doğan in the 86th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, Nevsehir JK's Erhan Doğan made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Hakkı Veli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nevsehir JK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
