Mehmet Bilge Cemşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behiç Sebukalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rıdvan Alpaslan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Behiç Sebukalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rıdvan Alpaslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Hamdi Kirmanşah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suphi Çağakan in the 16th minute of the match. Doğuhan Sayılgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Suphi Çağakan in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Hamdi Kirmanşah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doğuhan Sayılgan struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ahmet Hamdi Kirmanşah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fikirtepe. Rıdvan Alpaslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batu Razi in the 28th minute of play. Rıdvan Alpaslan came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by GÖKÇELİ SK's Behiç Sebukalp. But to his dismay, Behiç Sebukalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 40th minute, Batu Razi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Behiç Sebukalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rıdvan Alpaslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Rıdvan Alpaslan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Batu Razi in the 44thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 45th minute, Suphi Çağakan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in GÖKÇELİ SK's zone, Suphi Çağakan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Hamdi Kirmanşah came out of the goal and Suphi Çağakan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rıdvan Alpaslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batu Razi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Fikirtepe's Suphi Çağakan got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rıdvan Alpaslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behiç Sebukalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Doğuhan Sayılgan came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Fikirtepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuhan Sayılgan couldn't finish the play. GÖKÇELİ SK's Ahmet Hamdi Kirmanşah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save GÖKÇELİ SK from getting a goal against them. Rıdvan Alpaslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behiç Sebukalp in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Basri Özgenalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fikirtepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GÖKÇELİ SK the free kick. The audience was convinced that Behiç Sebukalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rıdvan Alpaslan was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Ahmet Hamdi Kirmanşah successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ahmet Hamdi Kirmanşah was a little too slow when Suphi Çağakan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-1. Rüştü Köken's late challenge caught a GÖKÇELİ SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Behiç Sebukalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GÖKÇELİ SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fikirtepe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
