The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ELpatron's Fazıl Aktay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsnü Hızır in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Semavi Avşar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ELpatron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semavi Avşar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göktas JK's Lütfullah Numan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özen Ubeydullah in the 10th minute of play. Semavi Avşar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfullah Numan having to interfere. Günalp Kenan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fazıl Aktay made a huge save. Fazıl Aktay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hüsnü Hızır showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Göktas JK's zone, Semavi Avşar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lütfullah Numan came out of the goal and Semavi Avşar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Haşmet Uzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Göktas JK got a freekick which was hit by Hamdi Kumanbay. If Semavi Avşar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüsnü Hızır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fazıl Aktay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semavi Avşar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lütfullah Numan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özen Ubeydullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Semavi Avşar to make the kick off. Özen Ubeydullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fazıl Aktay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsnü Hızır in the 61st minute of the match. Hüsnü Hızır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, ELpatron's goal looked a bit too open when Günalp Kenan came free, but Fazıl Aktay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Semavi Avşar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göktas JK's Lütfullah Numan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Göktas JK from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Özen Ubeydullah managed to get in a good position for a shot. ELpatron's supporters rose to their feet, but Özen Ubeydullah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfullah Numan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fazıl Aktay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsnü Hızır in the 91st minute of play. Özen Ubeydullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Göktas JK's Abdulkadir Onurkan got a free kick in the 94th minute. Göktas JK's Lütfullah Numan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semavi Avşar in the 97th minute of play. ELpatron were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Göktas JK to leave the ground with a draw.
