Bedrettin Sarıalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüstem Başesgioğlu having to interfere. In the 7th minute Erhun Tanın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edip Tarancı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lemi Tolgunay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edip Tarancı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Mut got a freekick which was hit by Işıkalp Taylak. 13 minutes into the game, Haymana JK's Bedrettin Sarıalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüstem Başesgioğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Mut booed when Haymana JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutalp Hadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedrettin Sarıalp struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Rüstem Başesgioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haymana JK. After a rather tough play, Mut's Erdoğan Macit got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Haymana JK were awarded a corner. Kutalp Hadi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Haymana JK's Şükrü Siraceddin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Bedrettin Sarıalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mut's Rüstem Başesgioğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Şenol İdris got free in front of the goal in the 35th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Rüstem Başesgioğlu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Şenol İdris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edip Tarancı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erhun Tanın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rüstem Başesgioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şenol İdris, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Işıkalp Taylak during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Mut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Işıkalp Taylak to maneuver through the defense. Kutalp Hadi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şenol İdris to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Halil Utku Haylaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rüstem Başesgioğlu, 0-2. With his leg Rüstem Başesgioğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Haymana JK's Bedrettin Sarıalp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tan Hitit's late challenge caught a Haymana JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tan Hitit helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Şenol İdris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 75 in the game by Bedrettin Sarıalp from a close distance when the talented Rüstem Başesgioğlu managed to make a qualified save. Mut's players were relieved. With an all-out effort, Haymana JK's Rüstem Başesgioğlu threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şenol İdris, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Bedrettin Sarıalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Şenol İdris took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Rüstem Başesgioğlu to make any attempt to save it. Haymana JK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
