Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Şenol İdris took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lütfullah Numan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedrettin Sarıalp in the 4th minute of play. If Günalp Kenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edip Tarancı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günalp Kenan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hüsnü Hızır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haymana JK's Edip Tarancı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günalp Kenan in the 27th minute of play. Hüsnü Hızır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edip Tarancı having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Hüsmen Elhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bedrettin Sarıalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günalp Kenan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Günalp Kenan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Göktas JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Günalp Kenan couldn't finish the play. After 52 minutes, Fevzi Sabih mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haymana JK and the Göktas JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Haymana JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fevzi Sabih to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hüsnü Hızır kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edip Tarancı. That made the score 0-1 in the 57 minute of play. When Günalp Kenan came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Göktas JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Günalp Kenan couldn't finish the play. Halil Utku Haylaz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Hüsnü Hızır came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Göktas JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsnü Hızır couldn't finish the play. Halil Utku Haylaz's late challenge caught a Göktas JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halil Utku Haylaz helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Haymana JK got a freekick which was hit by Halil Utku Haylaz. Bedrettin Sarıalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lütfullah Numan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Günalp Kenan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göktas JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Günalp Kenan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 minutes, Hüsmen Elhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haymana JK and the Göktas JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hüsmen Elhan hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Şenol İdris sped through Göktas JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lütfullah Numan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şenol İdris in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lütfullah Numan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hamdi Kumanbay fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göktas JK's protests and gave Hamdi Kumanbay a yellow card for diving instead. Hamdi Kumanbay hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Lütfullah Numan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bedrettin Sarıalp went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Bedrettin Sarıalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Göktas JK's zone, Şükrü Siraceddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lütfullah Numan came out of the goal and Şükrü Siraceddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Göktas JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
