The audience thought a goal was coming when Kadri Tuğcu got free with Mustafa Yaşar Korhan in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Mustafa Yaşar Korhan managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when ♠67 KARADENİZ Ereğli FC♠'s Batuğ Deryace fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yunus Deryace in the 24th minute of play forced Topaçspor FC's goalkeeper Mustafa Yaşar Korhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Batuğ Deryace quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When İlker Tunçbay came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Topaçspor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlker Tunçbay couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüseyin Rahmi Yalınalp to make the kick off.
