The attack was good, but when Cevat Akman in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 7th minute of the match Ali Behzat Başesgi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adem Esendağ skillfully saved the ball. Erbatur Yalvaç kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The Hamamözü SK fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Hamamözü SK's İsmail Ulun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lütfi Kağan's late challenge caught a Gülyali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lütfi Kağan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamamözü SK's goalkeeper Haydar Uran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hamamözü SK booed when Gülyali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Namık Kemal Ertaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. İsmail Ulun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adem Esendağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevat Akman in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Erbatur Yalvaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haydar Uran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykutalp Türkşen in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, İsmail Ulun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hamamözü SK's Cevat Akman in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gülyali's goalie prevented a goal. Muammer Cintay charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muammer Cintay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Gülyali got a freekick which was hit by Muammer Cintay. A collision led to Gülyali getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ahmet Kutsi Kurceren hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gülyali's Muammer Cintay got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Hamamözü SK's Ali Cengiz Ertuna couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gülyali. İsmail Ulun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Adem Esendağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 52nd match minute, Gülyali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erbatur Yalvaç to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes Gülyali got a freekick which was hit by Tarkan İmren. Gülyali's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Cevat Akman scored to the left of an out of position Adem Esendağ, making the score, 0-2. 60 minutes into the game, one of Gülyali:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Gülyali's zone, Cevat Akman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adem Esendağ came out of the goal and Cevat Akman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, Gülyali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kutsi Kurceren to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Cevat Akman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gülyali's Adem Esendağ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İsmail Ulun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Adem Esendağ made a huge save. In the 77th minute, İsmail Ulun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cevat Akman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cevat Akman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Adem Esendağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevat Akman in the 86th minute of the match. İsmail Ulun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haydar Uran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıdvan Kargin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adem Esendağ made an important save on a dangerous shot by İsmail Ulun in the 95th minute. If Cevat Akman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lütfi Kağan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Esendağ having to interfere. Hamamözü SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
