Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gökçek Kuman took the kick off in the first half of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Türkeş Sayar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of İzzettin Başkaynak, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Mithat Okkan got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Akil Hazer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İzzettin Başkaynak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçek Kuman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İzzettin Başkaynak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Türkeş Sayar in the 32nd minute. In the 41st minute, Fenerbahçe's Mithat Okkan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mithat Okkan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fenerbahçe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mithat Okkan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 41st minute, Mithat Okkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When İnanç Kırdar came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Fenerbahçe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İnanç Kırdar couldn't finish the play. If Abuzer Özgunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atalan Tacal was the one to do the kick off. Atalan Tacal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemil Salar having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Mustafa Orhan Uğuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match, Atalan Tacal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cemil Salar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Afyonspor's Cemil Salar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atalan Tacal in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Berkant Aydoğdu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İzzettin Başkaynak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Atalan Tacal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cemil Salar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Abuzer Özgunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemil Salar having to interfere. If Abuzer Özgunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İnanç Kırdar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cemil Salar having to make a save.
