In the 38th minute, Ulvi Onul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in geribas jk's zone, Yalçın Üstay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yiğit Can Muhsin came out of the goal and Yalçın Üstay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulvi Onul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Yiğit Can Muhsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulvi Onul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Can Muhsin having to interfere. After the first half MERZİFON SPOR were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Sedat Gemici was the one to do the kick off. If Ahmet Sedat Gemici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvinho Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. geribas jk's Yiğit Can Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulvi Onul in the 84th minute of play. Yiğit Can Muhsin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulvi Onul's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Ulvi Onul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Can Muhsin having to interfere. When Ahmet Sedat Gemici came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the geribas jk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Sedat Gemici couldn't finish the play. When the match was over MERZİFON SPOR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than geribas jk throughout the match.
