Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zafer Patlar took the kick off in the first half of the match. İshak Özbas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cemil Salar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zafer Patlar, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to Ruden Cook getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Şahin Ertaş hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ruden Cook's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçek Kuman came free, but Güney İmar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Zafer Patlar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şahin Ertaş in the 11th minute of play forced Afyonspor's goalkeeper Cemil Salar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Başar Okkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Afyonspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16th minute Gökçek Kuman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güney İmar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güney İmar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçek Kuman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 20 minutes, Gökçek Kuman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Afyonspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçek Kuman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Başar Okkan scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güney İmar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruden Cook's Güney İmar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökçek Kuman in the 24th minute of play. İshak Özbas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cemil Salar made a huge save. Ruden Cook's Şahin Ertaş managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tarık Hürol in the 37 minute of the game. Zafer Patlar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gökçek Kuman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Güney İmar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gökçek Kuman was the one to do the kick off. Güney İmar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berkant Aydoğdu in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Zafer Patlar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cemil Salar. Afyonspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zafer Patlar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Göktürk Türker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güney İmar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Sayar in the 70th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Afyonspor defense, Göktürk Türker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cemil Salar. The Afyonspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cemil Salar should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute İshak Özbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cemil Salar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cemil Salar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İshak Özbas went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Zafer Patlar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Zafer Patlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cemil Salar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evren Okanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cemil Salar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cemil Salar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göktürk Türker's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After 94 minutes of play, Ruden Cook's Göktürk Türker made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cemil Salar was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ruden Cook's Göktürk Türker in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Afyonspor's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Ruden Cook players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
