The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reşit Dinçay during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sahrayicedit's Enginsu Özçin got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Songur Baray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinan Hürol in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sarp Hikmet during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elazıgspor's Mustafa Oğuz Gaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sertel Sair in the 25th minute of play. Sertel Sair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mustafa Oğuz Gaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Elazıgspor's goal looked a bit too open when Enginsu Özçin came free, but Mustafa Oğuz Gaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Elazıgspor's Nuratay Süleyman tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamdullah Kamuran got free with Songur Baray in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Sahrayicedit's zone, Hamdullah Kamuran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Songur Baray came out of the goal and Hamdullah Kamuran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Songur Baray managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Elazıgspor's Hamdullah Kamuran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Hürol in the 47th minute of play forced Sahrayicedit's goalkeeper Songur Baray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enginsu Özçin to make the kick off. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sahrayicedit. Songur Baray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuratay Süleyman went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Enginsu Özçin charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enginsu Özçin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Enginsu Özçin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Hürol in the 93rd minute of play forced Sahrayicedit's goalkeeper Songur Baray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Sinan Hürol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Songur Baray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
