Gökçek Kuman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gökçek Kuman was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes Civril FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Akil Hazer who took care of the corner kick. Gökçek Kuman charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökçek Kuman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Afyonspor's Gökçek Kuman got a free kick in the 55th minute. Afyonspor's Cemil Salar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Afyonspor from getting a goal against them. Afyonspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
